Swami Nikhileshwarananda currently heads Shri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Rajkot which is a branch centre of Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math. Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, the distinguished worldwide organizations were started by Swami Vivekananda around 125 years back, having their Headquarters at Belur Math, (District – Howrah, West Bengal – 711202) and presently have 265 branches all over the world. He graduated in Chemical Engineering and post-graduated in Industrial Engineering and worked as a management consultant for a brief period and then renounced the world and joined the Ramakrishna Mission as a monk in 1976. He has guided the rural and tribal development project at Ranchi which received the award for the best Krishi Vigyan Kendra in the country and has been the editor of the monthly ‘Shri Ramakrishna Jyot’. He has spearheaded an earthquake rehabilitation project and was also responsible for starting the Vivekananda Institute of Value Education and Culture.

Through Extensive travel, both domestic and international, he has been preaching the Universal message of Vedanta in industrial houses, management institutions and educational institutions. An eloquent speaker and voracious writer, he has many sought after publications to his credit.
